Context, role and commercial problem

A fictional café concept created to demonstrate visual direction and frontend delivery for an independent hospitality brand.
Brand concept, interface design, responsive frontend development and deployment.
A café website has to communicate atmosphere while answering practical questions quickly: what is served, where the venue is and when it is open.

Built for desktop and mobile

These screenshots were captured from the live deployed project, not from a design mock-up.

Functionality and decisions

  • Menu highlights and seasonal feature content
  • Visit information and opening hours
  • Responsive image-led gallery
  • Future click-and-collect and launch-waitlist interface concepts
  • Mobile navigation and direct location actions
  1. 01Balanced warm imagery with high-contrast practical information.
  2. 02Kept menu, location and hours close to the principal journey.
  3. 03Labelled ordering as forthcoming rather than presenting a non-working transaction flow as live.

A deployed hospitality concept showing how brand character and practical conversion paths can coexist. It is not a real café or operating ordering service.
